Ok, not live live but evolving- clearly when you print a label that’s ahead of bottling, a bit like describing a toddler and releasing a teenager- stuff happens in between.

Chardonfreude
I think my original impressions still stand here- my pal Jon got lots of tropical fruits the other night and more acidity than I give it credit for- I actually re-measured it at pH 3.41.
It just makes me smile. Hence freude = joy.
Goldhaus
There’s a purity of shiraz fruit here I adore. It’s very much a ‘then the bottle was empty’ kinda wine- ‘come hither’ is maybe what TWF crew would say? I’m now getting very delicious cherry, strawberry and hint of bitter almond.
NQC
Self assured, unassuming here- antique wood/ dark fruit/ damson vibe that’s followed through with fine tannins and length, maybe going a bit cool forest leaf. Length ++.
Le Woogee
Now this initially I felt was a chiller/ summer red due to the lower acidity and slight greenness of the Bowmans shiraz, but it’s evolving into something more grown up as all the disparate elements come together- essentially an occa shiraz/ cab with weird mates.
